Jewelry Trade Shows in the USA: JCK, ASD and NY NOW for Boutiques

Match the trade show to your store's needs, prepare a focused ocean-jewelry buying brief and compare supplier offers after JCK, ASD Market Week or NY NOW.

Searching for jewelry trade shows in the USA can lead a small retailer to very different events. A jewelry-focused trade show, a broad merchandise market and a gift-and-lifestyle show do not serve exactly the same buying task.

Before booking a trip, decide what you need to bring back: supplier contacts, a finished collection, ideas for a coastal display or a manufacturer willing to discuss custom metal jewelry. That decision makes the event list easier to evaluate.

Compare the event with your store’s buying needs

The following dates were listed by the organizers when checked on October 7, 2026. Recheck the official websites, buyer eligibility and registration requirements before arranging travel.

EventAnnounced dates and locationHow to evaluate it for your store
JCK Las VegasJune 4–7, 2027; The Venetian Expo, Las VegasA jewelry-focused trade event. Review exhibitor categories and price positioning to identify relevant suppliers.
ASD Market WeekMarch 2–4, 2027; Las Vegas Convention CenterA broader wholesale merchandise market. Consider it when jewelry is one part of your gift or accessory assortment.
NY NOW WinterJanuary 31–February 2, 2027; Javits Center, New York CityA gift-and-lifestyle market. Review jewelry and accessory exhibitors alongside the other categories your boutique carries.

The descriptions above are a starting point for planning, not a ranking. An event’s overall size does not tell you whether its exhibitors match your materials, target retail prices or order quantities.

Take a one-page buying brief

Write down your store format, customers, preferred jewelry categories and maximum opening-order commitment. Add the questions that determine whether a supplier fits your operation.

For an ocean jewelry collection, a short reference board might include a shark chain bracelet, a shell bracelet and a fish-pattern cuff. These examples create three different discussions: connecting components, sculpted volume and repeated surface detail.

Do not treat a photograph as a complete specification. Note the base-metal options you want to discuss, finish, measurements, fastening, packaging and whether the design is existing or requires development.

Compare offers using the same questions

A small comparison sheet is more useful than a folder of unrelated prices.

Ask each supplier…Record…
What exactly is being quoted?Product code, version, material, finish and selling unit
How is the minimum order applied?Requirements by design, color, size or other option
What is included in the price?Product, packaging and any separately charged work
What happens before production?Sample requirements, review steps and approval points
When can the order be delivered?Production estimate, shipping arrangement and dependencies
How will repeat orders be matched?Approved specification, reference sample and version record

If one quote covers a finished necklace and another covers only a pendant, resolve the difference before comparing totals. The same applies to pairs of earrings versus individual pieces.

Use our metal jewelry sample checklist when the samples arrive, rather than relying only on the impression made at a booth.

Follow up with a shortlist, not every contact

After the show, group potential suppliers by the specific need they could meet. One might suit a ready-made gift collection; another might be relevant to an original cuff design. Send the same brief to suppliers you are comparing and keep their replies with the corresponding product references.

Record unanswered questions before placing an order. A low opening price does not answer whether the requested size mix, packaging or repeat finish is available.

Include direct factory discussions in the sourcing plan

Trade shows are one route to suppliers. Direct discussions can also be useful when you already have a clear design direction and want to review material options or development steps.

Lumabara develops ocean-inspired metal jewelry for wholesale and custom projects. Our OEM and custom jewelry page outlines options including stainless steel and plated cupronickel, subject to the requirements of the design. Selected existing designs have minimums starting from 30 pieces per design, color and size option; custom minimums are confirmed with the quotation.

Start with the bracelet collection or send a project inquiry with your references, quantities and target delivery country. Lumabara is not presented here as an exhibitor, sponsor or affiliate of the events listed above.
